When I joined my organization at HP 2 years ago Word, Excel, and PowerPoint were the tools of choice….with email after email tying it all together.

That is still the case today…….but things are changing.

Last week we launched the concept of a ‘project workspace’. All information for a project in 1 place. A place where the project team can collaborate as they work. Seems like a no brainer, but we didn’t have it until last week.

We recently launched a Digg-like website to collect ideas from our user base.

Today, we even had a meeting to brainstorm on how we can use a Wiki.

There are some people in our organization that have decided it is no longer ‘business as usual’…….and I am kind of excited to be a part of it.
